Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to send a request and every business owner to be able to use the app, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard, voice control, magnification, or a phone at its largest text size.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, on every page: request pages and forms, forms placed on other websites, the owner app, and our own pages.

How we check

• An automated WCAG 2.1 AA scan of the request pages, every form step, the owner app and these pages, at phone and desktop sizes, before release.
• A keyboard-only test of sending a request from start to finish.
• Every page we generate for a business is checked for color contrast and for working at a 360-pixel-wide phone screen before it can go live.
• The pages work without zooming being disabled, and every form field has a visible label and plain error messages.

Known limitations

• To stop spam, a security check from Cloudflare runs on request forms. It is usually invisible; when it does ask you to confirm you are a person, it is provided by Cloudflare. If it stops you, call the business, or call us and we will pass your request on.
• Pages generated for a business use that business's own words and images; if anything on one is hard to use, tell us and we will fix it.
